City Miscreants or Undiscovered Artists?

                                         

The world is their canvas, who are we to devalue the artist’s perception. Artists, everyday are trying to pursue this vision of uniqueness and go outside of their boundaries. Graffiti; bombs, or tags is ideally art. I understand how the every day person may turn noses, or dismiss the profanities blasted on buildings, or how elders may not be fond of the marks on unnecessary buildings like churches, I understand that is disrespectful. But how are we so blind to an artist at hand, you don’t need a last name like Di Vinci to be recognized. Musicians, poets, and even technology equipped persons are very much, artistically capable. I have to admit, that you do not need a paint set and isle to be an “artist”.. hello double oh eight, welcome old and young to a knew year, a new time, and a new dedication to the human self-expression. Let’s not dismiss the tags that add a vibrant hue to our cities but let’s very much embrace it, considerate it, and recognize. To the “bomber”, and “doodler in class”, to the inspired by street art. Do something bold, do something amazing, keep things in mind, but colour the world with a mark that will be remembered and reflected positively.

Now, of course, they have Facebook and MySpace Technically, these sites are just for making friends, not for quick hook-ups, and the rules strictly forbid nudity and sexual solicitation, but every now and then, the ultra-horny go a little ‘Craigslist personals’ on Facebook’s ass.

Take Laura Michaels of Bristol, England, who, according to the UK’s Sun newspaper, created a Facebook group called “I Need Sex.” Within 10 minutes, 35 men had joined the group. After an hour, 100 men had joined. She invited the men to contact her and met up in person with those she liked. In the end, Michaels slept with 50 men in total from the Facebook group, which, for those of you who are slow, is literally half of the group.

“I Need Sex” has since been taken down, but Laura has no regrets. She says that she was satisfying her own desires, despite what other people may think of her. All we can say is “kudos”.

Celebrity power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles reportedly were married Friday night in New York City, according to People.com.

On April 1, the Web site reported on that the couple had taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y.

An anonymous friend of the couple said Jay-Z, 38, and Knowles, 26, made it official with a private ceremony in Jay-Z’s TriBeCa penthouse apartment.

Guests reportedly included Gwyneth Paltrow and former Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Knowles became a star as part of Destiny’s Child before going solo in 2003. She has also acted in “Dreamgirls” and “Austin Powers in Goldmember.”

Rapper Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter has sold more than 35 million record and until recently was the head of Def Jam Records. He was also rumored to be on the verge of singing a $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation.
